DESCRIPTION:DELIGHT M’Chigeeng -Wellness Program for Elders\nAugust 6- September 26\, 2025\nMondays & Wednesdays @ 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.\nLocation: M’Chigeeng Wellness Centre\n\nWelcome to DELIGHT – Come enjoy movement\, food\, and laughter!  This 8-week program is perfect for older adults (55+) who want to boost energy\, enjoy good company\, and reconnect with their wellness goals.  No pressure\, no judgement!\n\nEach class blends gentle physical activity\, nutritious snacks\, and time to connect with others as we discuss ways to reduce the risk or progression of dementia.\n\nThis program is open to everyone.  The teachings support Elders and the care partners of Elders who are experiencing memory changes\, are living with dementia\, or self-identify as at risk of dementia.\n\nRegistration required please contact:\nAngela McGraw – Community Wellness Support Worker\nM’Chigeeng Wellness Centre @ 705-377-4240\nor\nCharlotte Trahan – Elder Wellness Coordinator\nNoojmowin Teg Health Centre @ 705-968-0683\n\nAbout the Facilitator:  Charlotte creates a space where Elders feel heard\, uplifted\, and empowered to care for their whole selves.  She is a passionate advocate for Elder wellness and is currently completing her Senior Fitness Instructor Certification through Western University.
