Joseph Syrette is Anishinaabe Ojibwe from Batchewana First Nation located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He currently lives in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan with his family. Joseph conducts various ceremonies and practices Ninaadiwe’iwejig (Traditional Healing) using medicines to help re-balance and heal sicknesses through prayer using Ojibwe doctoring methods to heal the mind, body and spirit. Joseph follows the practices, the ways of his mentors, and elders that went before him.
