Dan is Turtle Clan and is originally from Walpole Island First Nation, Bkejwanong. Dan currently resides in Whitefish River with his family. He is the proud father of five beautiful children and grandfather to three grandchildren. He has been attaining cultural knowledge for over 23 years by participating in singing with big drum, hand drumming, various teachings, fasting, helping with and conducting various ceremonies. Dan has reclaimed and utilized cultural teachings to overcome issues such as childhood trauma, violence, and addictions issues. His approach to living a healthy lifestyle is based on cultural teachings and principles from the Anishinabek Nation. ASSIGINACK ARENA 59 VANKOUGHNET ST. MANITOWANING, ON An afterschool program providing students with a chance to develop their basic Archery skills through NASP (National Archery in Schools Program). Students may also have the opportunity to shoot their own bows in preparation for bow hunting. NOTE: For people shooting bows/crossbows in excess of a 40 pound draw weight, we are going to ask people to BYOT (Bring your own target).
