Dan is Turtle Clan and is originally from Walpole Island First Nation, Bkejwanong. Dan currently resides in Whitefish River First Nation with his family. He is the proud father of five beautiful children and grandfather to three grandchildren. He has been attaining cultural knowledge for over 23 years by participating in singing with big drum, hand drumming, various teachings, fasting, helping with and conducting various ceremonies. Dan has reclaimed and utilized cultural teachings to overcome issues such as childhood trauma, violence, and addictions issues. His approach to living a healthy lifestyle is based on cultural teachings and principles from the Anishinabek Nation.     Facilitated by Christina Mishibinijima Christina Mishibinijima is from Wiikwemikoong Unceded Territory and currently lives in Sheguiandah First Nation with her fiancée and four children. Christina enjoys arts and crafts and credits her grandma for teaching her. While Christina focuses on quill work and working with birch bark, she also enjoys sewing and making regalia. Christina and her sisters have been working together as craft vendors since 2022 and love to share their creations with the world.
